Fireworks are the best way to start, or end, a celebration whether it’s Christmas, New Year, or the Fourth of July. Most dogs, however, will completely disagree that fireworks are fun.
The smell, flashing lights, and loud sounds that come from fireworks could all trigger your dog’s anxiety. If you have a new pup and are unsure how they’ll react to fireworks, it’s best to play it safe and prepare ahead just in case. Dogs who don’t cope well with thunderstorms are likely to be afraid of fireworks as well.
